Cailleach Moon

Cailleach Moon is the primordial soup of my being, it has been enhanced both magickally and materially through my journey by all those who have entered my life, helped me grow, taught me lessons, often painfully, and helped create a nourishing bowl of enlightenment, a cauldron full of magick, a table set with spirit and companions to share it with.

Throughout the creation of this rich meal, my life has been stirred around and around, sometimes gently with soothing hands, sometimes vigorously like a churning ocean in life's great storm. There has been moment of stillness and utmost bliss, there have been moments when i felt i couldn't stand at the stove of life any longer. At times the fires burnt low and the life force within me almost disappeared, but somehow, somewhere deep inside, with spirits help, i was lifted once more adding richness and spice to my life, stoking the inner fires till flames of passion again roared high. As my life continues i may add more herbs or remove a few stock pieces whose work is now done yet will forever leave their mark, ever changing to compliment my path as i walk the boundaries of Earth and Spirit, Heaven and hell, Euphoria and Dark nights of the Soul, always stirring my inner Cauldron to bring forth the best of me as i work to create and become my destiny.

From childhood i spoke with spirits and guides, i thought i knew where i wanted my life to go but my parents had other ideas. Then came marriage and the birth of our daughter, followed by ill health which opened my eyes to various healing modalities. I went on an incredible journey of discovery and just when i though i knew who i was and where i was going, life pulled the rug out from underneath me. Like the phoenix i was burnt to ashes yet like the phoenix i rose again, with larger wings and brighter in colour. And so my life took on a new purpose, it became part of my life story and who i am, inside and out, to reach out to others, women especially, to let them know they can all climb back from the pits of despair and become the phoenix, they just needed the tools to do so.. So often in our modern world we put our power into someone else's hands, doctors, health practitioners, partners or work colleagues. I wanted to scream "Wake Up - don't let the garden of your Soul whither and die" . So my workshops and courses are the culmination of my story thus far, with all the lessons, tools and teachings to help others embrace their own potentials and possibilities.

Avalon Whitefeather now lives in South Oxfordshire with her husband and pets, having lived in North Norfolk for nearly 50 years. Avalon lives and breathes that which she teaches and has been privileged to work with Native American elders, Celtic shamans and Druids. Empowered by Sharon McErlene in 2009, Avalon offers Grandmother teachings and empowerments. Blessed by spirit, an accomplished author and poet, her wise words, often channeled from Ascended Masters, inspire many with her gift to touch and inspire through her own devotion to her path, raising energies for humanity and the Earth alike.
